Jeremiah 26:9-11

⁹ Why have you prophesied in the name of Yahweh saying, ‘This house will be like Shiloh, and this city will be ^(A)laid waste, without inhabitant’?” And ^(B)all the people gathered about Jeremiah in the house of Yahweh.

¹⁰ When the ^(C)officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house to the house of Yahweh and sat in the ^(D)entrance of the New Gate of the house of Yahweh. ¹¹ Then the priests and the prophets ^(E)spoke to the officials and to all the people, saying, “A ^(F)judgment of death for this man! For he has prophesied ^(G)against this city as you have heard in your hearing.”
